Would anyone like to say, or even review in summary, the single player?
I ask because I'm wondering if it is worth it for just that. MP games often don't work well for me due to location and other issues.

The single player game is fun, although it's rather short since the focus of this game is multiplayer. You can probably buy the game cheaply, so I'd say give it a go.
