Battlefront Progress WON'T Transfer from PS5 to PC
I recently switch from PS5 to PC. I linked my accounts to steam. My battlefield progress was there, However my Star Wars Battlefront 2 didn't link up properly and wants me to start over/new. Hello all, after not having played Star Wars Battlefront II for a while, I decided to get back into it. I opened the EA app and clicked to launch the game from my library. Upon this, the Epic Games app opened. The game was not on that app though. The only EA and Epic accounts I own did appear to be linked when I went to the linked accounts in settings. I thought maybe there was a problem with the EA and/or Epic apps, so I uninstalled both and reinstalled them. To my surprise, SWBII was now also missing in my EA app games library. I went to the EA help website (https://help.ea.com/en/help-home/), only to see the game still marked by the red 'my games' indicator there. I reached out to both EA and Epic helpdesks. Basically, EA tells me that it is marked as an Epic game in their system, which supposedly means I bought it through Epic and therefore can only be helped by them. Epic on the other hand tells me they have no record of me ever having owned the game in the first place and ask for a receipt. I checked my two e-mail inboxes for any receipt of the purchase, and do not find anything. After trying many things the helpdesks suggested, they said: post it on the forum. But the forum was under maintenance for a few days, so I had to wait. Now I am even more surprised though, because the game is no longer marked as one of my games on the EA help website main screen. Luckily I took a screenshot last week when it was still there (see attachment). Does anyone have any idea how I could get this resolved or what could be the problem? It baffles me that there is no trace with either company of me owning (and having played this game for so many hours) even though it was (initially) in the EA app and appeared on the EA help page.
