@Bandicoot422Cheating is defined as "act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage"
Lmao, what kind of * definition is that and were did you get that from? By that very far stretched definition, spawncamping or stealing vehicles in Battlefield games would be cheating too. Or explosive camping at objectives. Though the key aspect of cheating/hacking, the 3rd party software, internal scripts etc., is missing.
Anything else is just dependant from the common consideration.
Yeah, keep walking in that dreamland and include exploiting into "cheating", it doesn't change the fact that it's something entirely different to using 3rd party software.
Unless the devs take care of it, you can't really blame anyone else.
Maybe the problem here is simply that there are no private servers where people can set up their own rules what they want to accept or not.
And as you mentioned, these exploits are most effective against people who're unaware of them. Where I play, most people do indeed know, so it's even.
Explaining these exploits in forum topics or youtube videos helps that these "features" will become common knowledge.
Do you rather want that these exploits are a privilege to be known by only few people? That would be completely counterproductive and anti-competitive.
The fact is doing any of this stuff gives you an unfair advantage to win. Let's all glitch into the cantina wall on Tatooine for a guaranteed win. I mean it's fine if dice hasn't fixed it right? Just learn to counter it.
Come on dude, don't be that guy, I would hope your IQ is higher than that.

@Bandicoot422Dude, did you even read what I wrote in my previous comments? Like also about how certain exploits are dependant from to what degree they're accepted by the playerbase rather as "feature"?
Also the topic was you calling exploiting cheats and how it still doesn't get one banned, not what other kind glitches one personally may like or dislike.
So don't shift topics here and project stuff on me I have never said in that sense. But k, just ignore the rest I said.
The main problem here still stands howver. If someone uses glitches against you, how are you going to react to it? Because neither EA or the anti-cheat software will classify it as hacks for you and thereby enforce a ban.
Just like in BF2015. There's that HvH map for instance where it can happen that some hero player just glitches into the wall to force the match to end in a draw while being an * to his team too because it just gets fed to our remaining heroes as easy kills. So I glitch into the wall too to kill him. I mean, do you have any better idea?
Just let him get away with it so he feels safe and does it again next round?
@soapy_catusesThanks for warming this discussion up again I guess. :/

That's why I don't play online shooting games on pc
Because they have become extremely bad cheating arena's
But just to make 1 thing clear it does happen on consoles as well exploiting bad programming
But not on the same level

DICE Team
Hey everyone!
I have cleaned up this topic a bit and this will be my only warning before I close the topic.
Can we keep to the forum rules, respect each other opinion and do not attack or insult each other.
Thank you.
