I just assumed the dart stays active while the player is alive, like the officer's turret. That's not the case? You've confirmed the player who shot the dart died?
- I think in the description it says the scan dart only works for a shirt duration, so probably shouldn't last a whole life. Doesn't when I use it.
I had a scan dart glitch along these lines today, not sure if it is the same thing. I shot the scan dart, but then the icon showed that it had not been used, and despite that, I was not able to fire it again (so it wasn't from an officer recharge command). But the scan dart kept revealing. I don't know how long, as the action moved on to the next objective, so I don't know if I would have kept getting points.

In which you use an ability but the cooldown timer doesn't show it's animation. If it is similar to the bug posted in the link above, feel free to post your findings there!

I am the person who shot the scan dart. It didn't go away after a certain time, it stayed online for the rest of the match. I was able to shoot the scan dart multiple times and this one shot was never removed. I received assists points from enemies revealed by this scan dart.
I have died multiple times and this dart didn't go away, it stayed online. I was not able to remove it.
