I replied to you already in my thread about the S-5, but i will write it here again: For me it worked that I played a game of "Galactic Assault" and did one kill with this weapon, then I could claim the reward. Check it out, maybe it works for you too. Try a different game mode.

Thanks for replying. I did try another round of galactic assault and got one kill before posting bug, but no luck. It looks like you went from strike to GA and I was only playing GA. I’ll try a game of strike tomorrow and see if it helps. Thanks!

That's what I meant. Play a different mode, make a kill with the weapon and see if you can claim it. I was not notified, that I can claim it, but still could after I played a different game mode. I hope it works for you!cheers!

Definitely more to the glitch. I own the pre-release downloaded game.
I stayed on the career/troopers/sharpshooter reward, hit the PS button and restarted the console. When I went back to the game, in offline mode, it stays reconnect to claim the reward. I reconnected by pressing R3, the reward was greeted out. Simply restarted again, went back and then followed the same steps, the reward was activated. Boom

OP here. I came home today, loaded game, and I was able to claim reward without doing anything. People have found various ways to get this to work. Restarting. Playing a different mode.

Definitely a bug, but for me it just took a little time to work itself out.
