server lag 2020
My character teleports up and down really fast (it happens very often, no matter which server im using (UK, 34ms or Germany, 25ms)), it doesnt effect gameplay, just it's really annoying . I'm 100% su...

Also getting lag too. The servers have been realllly laggy as of late... It is me or it’s the servers? Done restart of PS4, router, yet it’s laggy... Character teleports everywhere, infantry switches to 1st person, everyone moving in place but aren’t actually moving... Hasn’t happened last week yet is happening now...? Is this tied to that level 0/heroes locked server issue which happened a few days back?
Even the Japanese servers (98ms!) show the slow connection message

- @FearfulWarpII Have you hardwired your connection to see if that makes it better?
@Kevlegs I only have a short Ethernet cable, I have an Airport Express that mirrors the WiFi to the PS4 via Ethernet, the only thing is it slows down after a few days. This is the only way to get wired through it, it’s not the best but it’s what I have
I should really get a longer ethernet cable...

At me everyone is moving, they arent lagging. And my friend said only I'm lagging (in their view too). I dont know what is going on.

I got a new wifi and it is better than the old one and after that these lags happened. I really hope not my wifi s*cks. I have no lags in other games. And the lags happens only in multiplayer.
I don't know are the servers work as in Battlefront 2015 (if I change servers, I will play with other players eg. if I choose Germany, I will probably play with german players and my ping is changing too.

Hello NY-sithtrooper, this can happen but normally will be fixed easy enough once we can see what is happeneing.
Can be intereference, or streaming on the signal, storms, sun-spots, etc.
Best you can do is to record what you seeing to show the tech. There is a best practice way to fix most issues.
Personally, I reboot the router, modem, and computer before I play and have no issues. (Most of the time).
Sometimes it is not you, but sometimes there can be an issue. Clean boots really help..

I will record and post a video of what is happening. Sorry for the late answer! You answer late too and im sad about it a little.I uninstalled Battlefront 2 and I want to play it again, I hope it was an issue with the previous update and the yesterday update fixed it.
I will download Battlefront 2 as soon as possible, but it will take 2-3 hours with 70 or 90mbps download speed.
