servers down?

I'm getting error code 721, "Failed to connect to EA servers" as well.  Not sure what's going on.

Error 721 is happening again as it did before. Can you check the Europe servers?

Yep got the same sort of message with Error Code 721

I suspect a server issue but can't see any sever outage notifications

EA help guidance isn't very helpful recommending to reset this or reboot that ... possibly good advice if other things are screwy too ...but Steam is Ok, web pages are Ok, other games such as Borderlands are running Ok ...so maybe I am just guessing but EA have a problem????

DownDetector is showing several hundred reports of issues with the service but nothing from EA on the matter yet. I literally bought the game yesterday haha.

Are there issues today? I can't login to online services in game. Nothing on Twitter etc. DownDetector is saying several hundred reports of server issues?
