Several characters are locked out of play in Heroes vs Villains

It’s an event, info is below 

HEROES VS VILLAINS EVENT: ELEGANT WEAPONS

Start Time: August 30th - 00:01 UTC
End Time: September 01st - 06:00 UTC

"An elegant weapon for a more civilized age." - This weekend's event will feature only lightsaber-wielding characters in Heroes vs. Villains.

Additionally, for those who weren't able to get them, all of the Summer Community Quest voice lines and victory poses can be unlocked again this weekend.

    @AgentoSymbolo23then why, when im the only one in the lobby, will rey and luke be locked out?

      I have had lightsaber heroes locked out too.  I am on Xbox One.

    I feel like since it is an event causing this, that there should be an option to not play that mode. This is kinda annoying
