Happens every now and then on my PC too. Identical. Controls freeze and then have to, either die and hope to regain controls, or ctrl+alt+del out of the program, hugely annoying.
Yes is is really annoying that you have to reset the entire game and close it out to fix it. Please leave xp so that it can be noticed more by others and thanks for the reply.
