Sith Troopers are way too OP!

Does anyone else feel the Sith Troopers are too over powered and nearly impossible to kill most of the time?

Not unless you have a good blaster by your side. You CAN still kill them.

  • Maybe it's just me but I'd chose first order jet trooper anytime over the sith trooper. The splash-damage blaster is awesome, especially on open maps like Crait, the Tri-barrel launcher is a fine addition and they have better jetpacks than Boba Fett for only half the points. Sith troopers are powerful but I never really preferred playing as them or never had any trouble playing against them. Probably they're just there to compensate the Flametrooper, which is still very situational. The problem with the Sith trooper is probably that it's better than both resistance reinforcements.

  • @SlyFox740You can kill them very easily as the Caphex spy. Just like any other class you're pretty much screwed when a Caphex activates his middle ability and points his barrel at you.

But yeah, I enjoy playing the Sith troopers the most out of all infiltrator class variants. It's just funny how you can act like high on steroids + metamphetamines with your fast pew pew gun and never stop rushing.

That high rpm gun is also the problem if you experience the same as I do. With that bad netcode and latency in both new Battlefront games, you're dead before the game even tells you that a high rpm gun is firing at you, appearing like you get one-hit killed.

Though "high"amount of rpm in this game usually means just something like 600 - 700 rpm.

Completely ridiculous compared to other fps games that deal with rates up to 900 or even 1000 (FAMAS) and still perform better overall.

  • I don't know if they are OP but at least they are close to it. It's hard to flank them because their scan is active such a long time. they can sprint like Usaine Bolt. In close to midrange engagements their primary fire is to tier and they can avoid long distance combats easily because of the sprint ability. Still I agree the main problem is the lack of equally good reinforcements on the resistence side.

  • @SlyFox740 Sith troopers are fine, I can destroy them with the caphex spy, the first order jet trooper on the other hand, that splash damage blaster of his is the real problem
