slow internet connection

slow internet connection when play game.

  • Good Morning @rccarlover

I am seeing some packet loss in the UO-Trace you attached in which case the person to talk to would be your Internet Provider (ISP) as packet loss can't be fixed from our side I'm afraid.

I have also removed the UO-Trace from your post as it contains personal info. Please remember that AHQ is a public forum and this info is visible to everyone.

    Cheers

  • I'm assuming you've run a speed test (e.g. speedtest.net) around the same time you're seeing issues with SWBF2.

Have you confirmed which hosting site SWBF2 is connecting to (in settings menu)?

I kept getting the 'slow internet connection' warning in the top right hand corner of the screen yesterday.

100% this not the case and didn't affect gameplay in the slightest but it is still annoying.

This was a standalone issue a while ago if i remember rightly? (there have been so many)

Now however it's most probably linked to the ongoing server/ping issues.

Unfortunately, "slow internet connection" isn't necessarily a slow internet.  I was getting the warning when I had DX12 turned on!  :0
