Product: Star Wars Battlefront II Platform:PC What is your issue related to? General Summarize your bug In the middle of gameplay, all sound will randomly cut out. This has happened twice to me no...
I don't recall it happening at all in Battlefront, and I played that just a tad bit more than 4 hours. 😉
On the bright side - I really haven't had it happen for several days now. May be just dumb luck...
That's part of the trouble with this bug: its presence can be rather sporadic, which likely makes it difficult to find and fix the source. In Battlefield 3, I would estimate that I experienced this bug at least 25 times – sometimes twice within an hour, and sometimes only once within 15 hours. It only happened perhaps once during the more than 35 hours I put into Mirror's Edge: Catalyst. In Battlefront II, it has only happened to me once or twice in my 85 hours of play.
These are just my numbers, though; some people experience it more often, others less. Some people in that Andromeda thread have reported that the bug appears during nearly every single multiplayer match they play.

I have been having a glitch that seemed similar on Xbox One but got a lot worse today
I am not sure if they could possibly be related. Basically, my sound stopped working in all video games, but still works on Netflix, the menu, and Amazon Prime Video. I've tried playing games without my external harddrive to see if the data is corrupted there and that didn't fix it. I am getting no error messages but Battlefront II does not work at all basically, no sound, no characters visible.
On Halo, I have no sound, and I can play with visible characters and shoot, but it is extremely laggy even when I am offline. I hit 'start' and try to turn the volume off, and it takes 30 seconds for the start menu to load, all the while the screen has darkened a bit and I am stuck doing nothing.
This glitch started around the same time the PC gamers started posting the sound issues (earlier this week).

Uh this glitch has been in the pc game since beta. Yeah it’s taken them that long to possibly find a solution, maybe......
