We had a speeder sitting in the Stormtrooper spawn area on Endor and he just kept spinning cookies and killing us as we spawned. I think Heroes should get knocked down by a speeder, but not insta-killed. Now all the exploiters get the speeders and go to work. It's not fun.
@Player_6vmh4wht I agree it's complete BS when you get a hero and then get run over by a dang speeder.
I think maybe having speeders take damage when they run somone over may also be a good option
They really need to drastically increase the cost of all vehicles including speeders.
A heavy with explosive sentry and ion turret can take care of a speeder just fine. Problem is that the speeder costs a lousy 200 BP so they will spawn right back into it all match long because if they run 2 guys over before I take them out then they came out ahead.
The same is true of LAAT, Heavy Vehicles, spaceships, and medium vehicles. They are all overpowered considering the BP cost and the BP income you can achieve while piloting them.
