Super annoying. I have this issue plus the bug where you can’t claim rewards. I decided to give the game a second chance and now I can’t get the rewards or upgrade cards despite meeting requirements. Please fix. XBOX ONE X. Rebooted everything.

Community Admin@AtomicRedStar @ThunorX Hey, can I check what rank you are? If you gain one player rank are you then able to make the upgrade?
- Hey @EA_David , I’m rank 10. Looking at Bodyguard card as an example on my Assault Class. I’m card level 18 (required is 7) and rank required is 10. Both requirement boxes are filled in but lock still there and options are grayed out despite me having 445 craft pieces and only needing 80. I’ll check if anything changes once I get to 11, but I’m a slow poke when it comes to ranking up. Feels similar to the issue with not being able to claim rewards. I cleared local saves to see if that made a difference but nada. Feels like a server sync issue to me.
FYI I got to rank 11 and the upgrades unlocked. Stupid.- I am rank 10. Don't know if gaining a rank will change anything, but will try tonight.
@EA_David, Is there any upgrade in sight for the rest of us? Or are we going to patiently wait for months with no word from EA?
- He said they were looking into it. Yes the situation sucks for me too and everyone else and this probably should never have been a problem to begin with, but here we are. He has posted several times in this thread so I don't think it's fair to say you'll have no word "for months".
I wasn't taking shots at @EA_David. I thought my preceding sentence indicated that I was speaking about EA's response as a whole, and not David as an individual. I was inquiring as to whether EA could resolve the matter soon or, in the alternative, whether the bug is so embedded in deep code that we won't hear about a fix for an extended period of time. However, I could have been more clear.
I could really use this fix. Not being able to upgrade is the equivalent of progression blocking due to the fact that there is no tier matchmaking. Card levels are life. So it's a bit of a big deal.
Hey @EA_David, I have a bad working theory as to the source of the bug, and how it's related to the 'REWARDS' bug. Other players may need to confirm. I noticed this started happening after I achieved the 'PLAYED THEM ALL' Career reward. That "locked" my ability to claim additional career rewards as well as upgrading cards. Since PLAYED THEM ALL's rewards are meant to be crystals, and crystals are no longer in-game currency, could that be what is causing the issues? Arcade rewards are still unlocking normally. Take a look at it, I have a good feeling that could be the source of these server sync issues since it's pointing to a reward (crystals) that is no longer valid in the game.
One more update, I leveled up to 11, but same issue. I still can't upgrade, which is making me suck even more than usual. I need all the help I can get. Any assistance would be most welcome.
- Mine just literally started working out of nowhere. No rhyme or reason. No achievements or anything. Confuddled, but I'll take the win.
- Now rank 11 and still have the same problem.
