Star Wars Battlefront 2 “offline” mode

So got this game recently on Pc (steam deck) since got some friends on it. Wanting to play it offline since I have no wifi at the moment when I launch game you guys EA launcher pops up saying “cant connect to EA servers please close and launch again later” bro this game has offline mode since launch. Hell I went on the Xbox just to be sure and I didn’t need wifi to play it solo so wtf. Well any way to sorta bypass it or any way to play no internet? (I looked into Reddit for some answers and it was years ago before the EA app (origin))

    So found a way, for steam deck at least. If you don’t have wifi at all use your mobile hotspot (no matter how crap it is) let the game have its shader cache update and then launch game. It will take a minute for it to launch however once it’s done and you’re in the menu selection screen. Turn off hotspot it will go back to ea launcher however that’s fine hit the steam button go down and you’ll see 2 options “ea app and battlefront 2” just swap and keep EA app on idk if closing it will close the game too and it repeats itself but ya
