Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2017) crash after windows 10 fall creators  update.

Specs : AMD 1700x;  R9 290X gpu,  16gb (PC3200)RAM, Windows 10 64bit. Samsung SSD for boot,  game is on a 750GB hdd.   I was able to install and run the game with zero issues when the game launched ...

Check your settings file in the documents to see if Direct X 12 is turned on.  If it is turn it off.
