Check whether you have 100% CPU utilization during this.
I had the same issue, turned out to be frame rate related.
Here is a working solution, if your CPU running on 100% constantly during battles and main menu:

I happened to run into this issue yesterday. I also concluded it was because the high framerate in menus, but I didn't know this game supported a framecap in the option files (I used 3rd party software). Thanks for the tip!

i tried to uncheck 2 CPU cores in the task manager and the CPU usage drop from 100% to 65% AVG, but the game becomes unplayable and still crashing....
- ApprovedAnonymous8 years agoTry limiting the fps not from Nvidia manager but as the 2 step describes it. Editing the marked files helped Mány, while software fps limiting does not work for many. Create the user.cfg and edit the 2 files mentioned. When you are done with the 2 step try giving admin right to game and run it in borderless vsync on. The borderless +vsync might be optional.

i was try configuring the files but didn't work too i got the limit to 60 frames but the game still using the 100% of CPU, i don't know if that really is the cause of the problem, because when i disable somes CPU for star wars battlefront 2.exe the CPU use drops to 65% and the game still crashing and generating that type of files in documents
