Star Wars Battlefront 2 deleted ifself from Origin

Hello!

Today I was playing in Campaign mode then my game froze, and I got a black screen. My whole PC froze at that point, so I logged out via Ctrl+Alt+Delete.

Then I logged back. Now, for some reason, I can't open Battlefront 2. It says (I can't transle it properly to English, sorry) "starwarsbattlefrontii.exe has been changed or relocated" and I can only delete it.

However I still have the game's folder (90gb...), but the only .exe file I have is starwarsbattlefrontii_trial.exe. If I launch that, Origin requires me to activite the game with a product code.

I always launched Battlefront 2, through the Geforce Experience launcher (I don't really have a strong PC), but this has never happened to me before.

I don't know what to do, I don't want to install 90gb again...

(Sorry for bad English btw)

  • @EA_Atic On Monday, I reinstalled the game, now it works perfectly. Whenever my game uninstalls itself again, I will try to do what you wrote to me.
Thank you for your answer! 🙂

  • Hey, @Blaise012 make sure that all drivers for windows are up to date, also worth to reinstall the GPU drivers for your PC.

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Star Wars: Battlefront 2 and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

Let me know if this works or not for you. 🙂
