Star Wars Battlefront 2 Loading times.

I got the game from epic and i downloaded it with my friends.

My launch loading time is usually around 1-2 mins but my friend's loading time is around 10-15 secs we have the same pc specs.

Pc specs:

RTX 2060 6gb oc

16gb 3200 mhz ram

Ryzen 5 3500x

480gb ssd

I don't have the directx 12 on.

    I tried everthing you guys said and thank you for trying to help me but i couldn't make it load faster so i reset my computer just for the sake of the science and that solved the issue.

    I am also having the exact same issue. Out of my group of 6 friends who got this game free, I am the only one having this issue. I have the game installed on an m.2 Nvme SSD as well.

    I tried different settings,different hours,different routers problem is still here.

    My game is very smooth when it's actually playing. But getting to the main menu and loading into the campaign takes forever.

    Same here! Load screens of up to 5-6 minutes but the game runs like a dream when I actually load in.

    @jovack Not sure what your issue exactly, but I also had extremely long load times... now, things load extremely quickly. All I did was updated my Nvidia drivers with the Geforce experience... although I suspect the issue may be the game needs to install itself -- or something along the lines of organizing files for early uses? I'm not sure. But I went from having painfully long load times, to less than 5 seconds. Truly odd, since some people said "rolling back drivers fixed for them", whereas, I updated my drivers, and it fixed.

    Well all my drivers are up to date and i don't know how can i rollback the drivers. ☹️

    Try ticking the box on the compatibility tab of the game's exe to run as administrator. That seemed to be what fixed my excessively long loading screens, however I have yet to restart my pc after fixing it lol
