@EA_Mako I continued searching the forum and found a solution, for anyone else who has this issue, go to your documents folder and delete the Star wars Battlefront 2 folder, then launch the game.
It might crash, and if it does, sign out and re-launch it and it should work

Nevermind, that worked for about 5 minutes, my game crashed again

Are you getting any error messages when that crashes?
Have you checked to be sure your drivers are all up to date?

No error messages, and all drivers are up to date, is there anything else i should check?

I'm not sure if you had a chance to try the steps from the first post before the method you found elsewhere, but that would be worth trying next.
If you're still having trouble after that, can you attach a DxDiag file so we can get a bit more information?
