Star Wars Battlefront 2 won't launch
Hello EA community,
After hours of trying to fix this issue, I have not succeded so now I need your help. Whenever I try to open Battlefront 2 from steam, it opens Origin and then minimises it only to reopen again, without launching the game (Edit: Sometimes it just doesnt even reopen Origin). I have been playing Battlefront for a couple months now and this issue has never happened before.
I have tried:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling driver
- Reinstalling battlefront 2
- Deleting Origin caches
- Deleting and resintalling Origin
- Resetting PC
- Double checking the requirements for my pc
- Verifying the integrity of my files
- Opening Battlefront from desktop shortcut
- Opening battlefront directly from Origin
- Reading other related issues, nothing seems to work
This has started to happen after I tried to install mods. I deleted everything related to the mods, and reinstalled battlefront 2 after having done this so that really shouldn't be the problem.
My specs:
Windows 11
Processor AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics 2.90 GHz
Installed RAM 16.0 GB (15.4 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
This is a really frustrating issue so if you could help me I would really appreciate it, thank you.
If any more information is needed, please let me know.
Doesn't sound odd to me. As you can see in this forum, you're taking a lot of risk installing some of those mods.
