star wars battlefront 2 wont let me play multiplayer

i have never played multiplayer on star wars battlefront 2 because when it loads into a game it kicks me off the game and it only lets me play campaign. I'm connected to Wi-Fi too I restarted my pc and it still never lets me play someone please help and i cant find anything that helps i really need help I want to play multiplayer really badly someone help me please
