Star Wars Battlefront II: Crashing and Low FPS in the Menus

Question

Hello,My game is running very strangely as of late.&nbsp; Currently, when I launch, my FPS in the menus is terrible.&nbsp; Nine times out of ten, I have 15-40 FPS in the selection screens and in the preround screens.&nbsp; On the other hand, whenever I load into combat, my FPS is normal.&nbsp; (I do experience frequent freezing- frame drops.)&nbsp;&nbsp;Secondly, without fail, after playing one game of Capital Supremacy I experience a crash.&nbsp; During the cinematic opening of the next match I load into, my game freezes and then crashes.&nbsp; As you can imagine, this is pretty frustrating.&nbsp; I only get one game in and then I have to re-open the whole program.&nbsp;&nbsp;Lastly, if I tab out of my game, sometimes (not always) when I tab back in my game is all messed up and action is impaired. I cannot see anything but a gray background and my only option is to utilize ALT+F4.

Download and install all available Windows Updates
Update or reinstall your video drivers
Run System File Checker to ensure the integrity of your Windows System files: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833
Perform a clean boot before starting the game: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 or http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/

@EA_Barry I am going to try and use NVIDIA's feature of "clean installation" of their latest driver. Do you recommend this method for fixing video drivers or using device manager to uninstall and reinstall?
