Star Wars Battlefront II Launching Issue

Summarize your bug I recently redownloaded the EA App and the game Star Wars Battlefront II. I successfully downloaded and install both. When I launch the game, it just simply opens the Epic Games app that I have and it is stuck on a loading screen forever. I got the game around 2 years ago when Epic Games had a 100% discount on the game temporarily. I played for a bit then and then stopped playing until now.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just open the EA app and install Battlefront II. Then try to launch the game from there and the bug occurs.
What happens when the bug occurs? As soon as you hit launch, the Epic Games Launcher is opened to the home screen. On the EA app, an infinite loading screen occurs for Battlefront II without the game actually opening.
What do you expect to see? The game never opens and you are stuck with an infinite loading screen.

    If you search this forum for "epic", you will see numerous posts from people trying to get their Epic account and EA account properly lined up.

    Two solutions I've seen a few times:

    1) uninstall all launchers (including Epic). Then, install EA app, then the game.

    2) Contact EA support directly to see if they can get you sorted. EA may tell you that you need to contact Epic support to get something fixed.
