Star Wars Battlefront II: RANDOMLY CORRUPTED FILES??

I was in the COLLECTION menu, and the game crashed.. When I restarted the game I received this message: "Your save file(s) are corrupt and could not be ready by the game, continuing will overwrite the save."

PLEASE tell me what to do/ not do... I have no idea if this means my progress has all been erased or not... Pretty annoyed at this. I've had the game since PS4 pre-order early access. I am not pleased to say the least..

  • Hey @ApolloA97

I'm sorry to hear about your issue with local saves ☹️

The good news is you shouldn't worry about losing any multiplayer progression or unlocks - like your level or Star Cards and cosmetic items. You might, however, lose your Arcade progression and personal settings, which are locally saved on your device.

But if the corrupted save files make it impossible to launch the game, it's recommended to overwrite them.

  • I do not have my game backed up so I don't know what to do.
