I think the rolling mechanic should be toned down a little bit but only subtly.
Force using Jedi already have major major advantages over no force users.
Force powers. Higher health. Improved jump. Improved movement speed. Ability to block force powers. Ability to block blaster fire. Higher damage output than most characters. Sweeping AoE on melee attacks.
If you over did it on nerfing the rolls you'd make force using heroes too strong and non-force using heroes useless.
Most of the force using characters in the game have abilities that are ranged and can hit an enemy at the end of his roll. With the exception of Rey who has insight so what else even matters.
Most players aren't high enough skill level to really abuse the rolling mechanic and force users are agile enough where they can ambush players pretty easily.
I don't think much of an adjustment is needed, just perhaps a slightly slower refresh on the roll cool down if you use two rolls in rapid succession.
Also nerfing vanguard would go a long way in helping force users be effective in GA.
