l have this issue, too. Because I enjoy the Starfighter Assault mode the best, I have spent nearly all of my credits (tens of thousands) on starfighter crates, but they rarely contain even one starfighter card. (The only other thing I've purchased is Leia.) Currently I still only have:Fighter: 2 common cardsInterceptor: 3 common cardsBomber: 1 uncommon cardAt least one of those came from another source like a daily crate, too.It seems like powering up my starfighters is going to take forever. I feel a sense of hopelessness, not progression. ☹️

I have had the same issue. I also enjoy star fighter the most and have spent the majority of my credits on these crates. I would like some sort of compensation after the bug is fixed.. rank1rager on PC.

same here. i have received more starfighter cards from hero crates than the s/f crates

At this point, I've also received several duplicates of hero ship cards, despite having only received 4 or 5 cards for regular starfighters. The amount of credits you receive for duplicates is also less than 10% of what it costs to buy a new crate; I'd much rather receive crafting parts so I can create a card I actually want.

Starfighter crates not giving starfighter items, need refund.

Doesn’t the Rey and Chewbacca card count as a star fighter card? It’s an ability for the hero class ships in star fighter mode? If you read the *part next to the purchase bit it says you will recieve starfighter cards and also troop or hero cards

I also noticed that star fighter crates gives you only hero starfighter cards and other types. I have been using my credits on starfight crates for a while without receiving many cards for the normal fighters. Maybe it should be renamed Starfighter hero crate

Same here! The whole crate system is a joke, and that’s when it works. How about the fact you get so many duplicates and for maybe a 200 credit refund...I spent 4400 on a trooper crate, I expect 4400 of trooper card value. I don’t want fracking emotes, starfighter or hero cards in a “Trooper crate.” Give me what I pay for with the credits, and if I get multiple duplicate cards why can’t they just level up the existing card (eg 3 common = 1 uncommon etc) instead of a pitiful 200 credit refund! Whole system is fracking joke and I want refunds!
Since latest patch today, I have no cards in multiplayer but they still exist in my collection. Completely bugged patch for everyone!

Officially those are classified as hero cards, as they affect heroes in your career page. This bug did not happen in the beta, and was introduced sometime afterward. I've read other people have seen similar problems with trooper crates giving only hero star cards occasionally.

Also, I forgot to mention that the EA Help chat support told me to make this post and I would get an email reply:
"I wish I could grant you any credits on your account however these tools has been revoked now and our specialist team is handling such cases

I'm still waiting for the response to this bug. The support chat said I would be contacted. Please contact me through direct messaging as soon as possible. The rate is about 50% and I've spent all of my credits on these crates except the 15k for Vader.

I don't lose star cards, I lose crafting parts, credits, and Duplicate credits. No matter the crate.

If you manage to get in touch with them, let me know. I reported it on the forums, I submitted a bug report, I've brought it up on twitter... nothing. Honestly, I never reported a bug before, I am a casual gamer. I don't know how to go about this, but I am upset. I'm glad you're talking about it, because I feel like I am the only one who's noticed this. Reddit made a huge deal about loot crates, imagine what would happen if they found out that they didn't work all the time?
