i am also getting this probelm, i will open up battlefront 2 on my PC from origin (steam i tried first, same problem) and it'll sit there for 5-10 even more. it just wont load
Same problem here. I haven't played the game in quite a while, but I am on the same system I was last time I played. From launching the game to getting into a level, it takes me almost 15 minutes.
Considering all you guys who have posted this and no solutions coming from the company, I don't really expect any resolution anytime soon.

Try modding, When i run Battlefront 2 throug frosty mod manager loading times are significantly better. Solved the problem for me.
I had long loading times as well, including a black and white screen when i start the game. Here is how I fixed it, in case someone finds this post.
