STATS!
I've seen tons of people ask for it. And apparently EA does track it. But there needs to be a stats page or a companion app for it or something. I play a couple matches, dont even remember if I won...
I hate it to repeat myself but...
I disagree fully with stats. Stats are the reason why nobody plays just for fun. Many players will leave matches earlier just cause of their k/d ratio and win/loose stats. There will appear more people who are camping instead of playing the objective and take risks. I am very happy there are no stats available and it was a good decision of the devs.
Stats and leaderboards are reasons why a lot of games aren't great, because most people want to see their ego so they don't play right the game.
So how it is, it's fine. We don't need and don't want stats. Oh and if you think it isn't true, play Battlefield V and you will se what I mean, when 4 or more players just leaving in the middle of the game just they are worries about their stats.
I have nothing against stats if they just show how many milestones you have completed or how many points you earned (good stats). Bad stats instead like K/D ratio (on objective modes it's always bad but on HvV / battle/skirmish it would be okay), wins and looses will nerf your fun to play, back on your head you will be always worried about your stats and you will be on stressed instead relaxed to play.
So it should just show positive things, so nobody will built up worries about their playstyle.

Stats push players to improve. Especially leaderboards which promotes competition and again improvement. And besides, players can leave all the matches they want to boost their win ratio, it is probably one of the most meaniless stats because there is no matchmaking. Stats which matter and promote improvement are a combination of k/d, kills/min, and score/min.

Stats doesn't push players to improve, that's only works on games with arena/tournament character which Star Wars Battlefront 2 isn't. On a few game modes like Heroes versus Villains, Hero Starfighter or skirmish where kills, kills/min matters it can improve but on the most game modes it wouldn't. Score/min could work on objective game modes but however as soon as people are able to see there full stats they change there playstyle and starts to worries which is just wrong. They start to play more defensive and more for them self instead for the team.
Legitimate stats are: Total kills, score/min, accuracy.
Unwanted stats are: win/lose ratio, k/d.
On a upcoming Star wars battlefront I wish there will be stats, but only on "rank listed" modes only count for these "rank listed" modes because on a "casual/core" star wars battlefront you as default player only needs to know the things of the current round and not the stats of a few rounds ago because you as player don't need to know such thing's, it doesn't matter and nobody cares because on core you are playing for fun and not to reach each round 1st place and win every round. Star Wars Battlefront is in his core a casual grand team based game with small arena modes. Stats are ruining these grand team based modes because no one wants to die to protect or attack the objective.

I still disagree. I think it's pretty simple, if you don't want stats, just ignore them. I know I would definitely enjoy and benefit from knowing my strengths and weaknesses as well as total kills and so on.
@CloudMcRipHonestly, I thought I was alone in loving that this game had no stats. For me personally, it made the game more fun. Reminds me of the good old days when stats didn’t matter and the majority of players simply had a good time playing a video game. I’m sure that other future Star Wars games may implement stats, but I really enjoyed a game with no stats for once. With all that said, I really have nothing against stats and I’m sure adding them to this game would have pleased the majority of players.
