Store Offers Unavailable (PS4)

I can play BFII on PS4 offline and online. However, I can rarely buy crates.

Most of the time, it displays "some online features are currently unavailable" and also a dialog box saying "store offers cannot be loaded".

Anyone had this problem, and know of a workaround? I have loads of credits I want to spend unlocking heroes and upgrading star cards but am unable to.

@jbtips_o4jt6meh Hi, when this happens, can you go online, then play a quick game of Arcade and see if anything changes?

You don't even need to win the match, just playing a game should work.

If this is ineffective do you have any issues with buying/seeing stuff in the main store for the console itself?

    Thank you.

I am having the same issue, only on PC. This has been happening ever since the 1.1 patch, it never did this in the previous 3 weeks I owned the game.

The option to open crates at the bottom left of the main menu does not show up, nor my credits and crafting parts at the top right. After a few seconds I get the message :

"We can't load the store offers. Please check your connection. Error code: 2,446"

After that message it says "Some online features are currently unavailable" beside the quit button on the main menu.

I can play the game in arcade and join multiplayer games. I tried playing both types for a bit but it made no difference.

I also notice the game fails to connect online at all sometimes when I load it, I have to click the Connect button at the top of the main menu. It will then connect online, but still with the above problems.

I've also noticed my milestones do not display correctly in the career page when I first launch the game. They all show 0/whatever but if I click on one of the categories such as campaign, it shows the missions as being completed therein.

I've found that if I complete an arcade game of sufficient length to earn credits, once the game is complete my credits and crafting parts will show up once again at the top right and the milestones display properly in the career page. The option to go to the crates screen remains missing though, with the "Some online features are currently unavailable" message. In the collection screen if I select a hero I do not own it says "This content is not currently available" where to option to purchase would be. However the next time I load the game the credits\crafting parts disappear again and the milestones show all 0/ again in the career page.

I've tried using the repair function on the game in Origin twice, it does its thing but the problem persists.

@2DarkWolf2 Thanks for the detailed post. Can you try removing then re-adding both Origin and the game to your firewall exceptions list, and see if anything changes?

Clearly you have some connectivity, but all's not as it should be.

I'd also try a router power cycle. Sometimes if they're on too long routers can be the culprit if there's odd behaviour. It's rare, but a power cycle is a quick and easy step.

  • I've had nearly identical problems to Dark Wolf since the 1.1 patch on Xbox One. All of my routers have been cycled and are tip-top. I'll keep trying, but if there are any suggestions you might have, I'm all ears.
  • If you would like to have a look at some screen captures of these issues, I've uploaded them to my profile on Xbox Live, gamertag is teasethedog.

    Thanks!

  • Another quick note:

I am still able to play multiplayer on every other game I have, including several other EA games and the '15 Battlefront with full access to all features. I can also play MP matches on BF2, but cannot access crates, card upgrades, etc. I wanted to send you a couple screen caps of error codes I'm receiving now. I had only seen 2495 before the 1.1 patch. Now, I still see 2495 in addition to these:

    1,757

    770

    721

    2,446

    Hope this helps.

I attempted what you suggested EA_David, initially with no luck. Then for the heck of it I connected my computer directly to my modem and I'll be darned if it did'nt work fine. Seems the firewall on my router was the culprit, I suspect the router itself developed a fault. I found it would work only if I disabled the firewall completely. I replaced the router and things are functioning as they should now. I guess it was coincidence it went bad right when 1.1 came out.

So your suggestions got me to the solution, thank you.

  • Happy for you Dark Wolf, but no such luck for me. the problem hasn't resolved no matter what my firewall settings are.  Is there a possible setting I'm missing with my router?

If you've tested it shutting all firewalls off and its still doing it, I don't know what to suggest. It was bypassing my old router's firewall that was the breakthrough for me.
