Are you using Discord? Discord's Gaming Overlay is notorious for messing up with Mouse interaction in the game. If you do use it, try disabling the overlay in its settings, or close Discord altogether and try again.

If that isn't the case, another peripheral might be messing up with your game. Unplug all peripherals except your Mouse and Keyboard and see if that does the trick. Trying with another mouse, or plugging it in another spot on your PC are also recommended troubleshooting steps. When the game becomes confused due to its input methods overlapping each other, or when the input method is showing connection issues, it can behave by constantly resetting the pointer's position.

If none of this worked then I suggest repairing the game on Origin, and if that doesn't do the trick either, then reinstalling the game. But these options can be very time consuming, so it's better to try the ones above first.

I hope this helps! Let us know if/when you manage to fix the issue. Good luck!

  • Just installed this game through Origin yesterday.

First time trying to play today, the mouse was visible the entire time I was in game. The mouse was not bound to the window either. I tried all the different settings like borderless and fullscreen. No change. I could not turn my character around because the mouse went off the screen.
I exited the game and relaunched.
This time there was no mouse cursor in the menus. I alt tabbed and the game crashed.
What a great update. (Used to play about 2 years ago.)
