Not sure if it's really a bug. I thought they did this to prevent people from using it to farm thousands of points in a few seconds in galactic assault by holding it on an ATAT or MTT
I think this is the better bug report on this topic, as the other threads sound more like players are just upset about a nerf, and this one clearly defines the nature of the bug and describes what might be going on. I agree, although we were expecting a nerf on this weapon, the duration is so short as to make the card not worth using, which I'm sure was not the intent of the developers.
@MaddogMason666 Sure, it deserved a nerf, but it's unclear that they meant to nerf it this much. Either the patch notes or wrong, or they bugged the actual implementation.
