SW: BF2 - Change Server Region

How accessible is the current experience? It's overall fine
Summarize what in the product is difficult to use. I'm having a little issue when playing Star Wars Battlefront 2. I live in Argentina, so naturally I get assigned to the Brazil server. However, that server is a little empty, so I decided to change it to the Virginia, US server (in Options -> EA Account). The problem is that every time I finish a match, the server configuration goes back automatically to Brazil. Is there any way to change it "permanently"? Is that option broken or does it have a different purpose?
How is this making it more difficult? Every time I want to play a match, I have to change the server region manually, and once I finish I have to change it again before playing (since it keeps reverting to Brazil).
How can we reproduce this experience? Go to Options -> EA Account and change the region. Play a game, and go back to that options screen.
I'd like to know if this is the intended purpose or if there's a bug in the option. I'd really like to be able to permanently change muy server region.
