SWBF II Campaign Broken AI - 2023
So one the things one tends to do after buying a new 13th gen system is try some great eyecandy games, one of which is Star Wars Battlefront II.
However something strange happened which I could not remember from my first campaign playthrough in 2018.
ALL ENEMIES IN MULTIPLE CAMPAIGN MAPS START SWARMING ME FROM THE MOMENT I FIRE MY FIRST SHOT .
It's like waves of 15 stormtroopers or enemies at time rushing towards me to stand 1 cm from me and start shooting all at once.
There's also sections where enemies just spawn behind my back again while I just cleared that piece of area. Or the dialogue comes up saying "thats the last of em OR this area is clear now"
Well nope. Let's just randomly spawn some troopers again to attack you once more from all directions.
Not to even mention the fact that when the AI enemies do not rush me or the player so to say, they start crouchdancing behind cover making it a completely laughable experience, seeing multiple stormtroopers hop their heads up and down stuck in a loop movement of crouching and standing until you finally shoot them.
What the hell is this? Has this triple A multimillion dollar games updates been programmed by a child?? What kind of state has this game been left in? What have Star Wars games ever done to EA to deserve such a treatment??
It ANNIHALATES any form of immersion and actually brakes the campaign as some sections become downright unplayable.
I've seen more complaints from more people about this and @EA you guys just let it fester like that in one of your main Star Wars titles? Because in case you haven't noticed, besides a now years old Fallen Order and a quickjob Squadrons you still have nothing else to offer in this franchise.
This issue needs attending ASAP.
