Terrible Banning Time

Jesus H Christ. How long does it take for you guys to ban a hacker. Everyone in the match helps and reports him. But nothing happens to him. Guys are taking your sweet * time. It's atrocious. How do we know if the hacker will eventually gets ban? Why aren't you guys banning him? It shouldn't been allowed in the first place. Person gets over 110 kills whereas other people barely has 30. How obvious is it? You guys wanna let the person stay and ruin the game for everyone? Think that's good PR? Or cause EA's PR is * right now and you guys decide to make it worse. Made you guys lazy? Seriously jeez

  • I would just like to point out that someone getting 110 Eliminations(assuming you mean in galactic assault) does not mean they are hacking or cheating. I have had in excess of 110 eliminations in galactic assault on many occasions especially when playing a team who kamikaze relentlessly. I can assure you that I am not a hacker and I certainly don't know any ways to cheat and wouldn't use them if I did. If you saw this player one shot everything in sight without missing a shot or visibly cheating then fair enough but I personally find it irritating to have people making the statement that players are cheating just because they are half decent at the game and get a lot of kills when others don't have anywhere near as many. Try using Bossk effectively with purple cards for his dioxis and it may explain why this can happen. I hate cheaters and there are plenty of them in this game some with aim bots, some hacking so you can't kill them etc but please don't call people cheaters on the basis that they are doing better than everyone else.

It is RARE that I see anyone reach or exceed 100. That in and of itself makes everyone...and I mean everyone...go hmmm. The part that is missing, is that the person gets to 110 kills in a 6-7 min round that ends all too soon because that person is one shotting everyone, if not using other exploits/hacks as well. Now, unfortunately...this is not so rare to see.

I have to disagree with your statement as it doesn't necessarily make me go hmmm. There are people on this game who are frustratingly good. I do not consider myself one of them and yet I have exceeded 110 eliminations in Galactic Assault on more than a few occasions. There are definitely a lot of cheaters on this game without a doubt but saying someone is cheating on the basis of their eliminations(bare in mind that includes assists and kills) is not necessarily going to target the cheaters but in a lot of cases it will target good players as a result of being placed in lobbies with players who have vastly less ability than them all because of the poor matchmaking in the game. Resulting in unbalanced teams with a few very good players destroying the opposition and that team thinking they must be cheating. Team balancing and the matchmaking in the game is a far bigger issue in terms of all players being able to identify cheaters. I even find myself thinking that players must be cheating because I'm getting my * handed to me along with the rest of my team and maybe they are cheating but I can't know for sure because my team really really suck. I've been on the other side of this taking advantage of poor quality opposition and know that they don't have to cheat to achieve mad scores and a lot of eliminations so without visibly seeing them cheat can't make that assumption. Surely EA can come up with something that can monitor players with super unrealistic accuracy stats to ensure players racking up a lot of kills are doing so without the aid of a bot. Even then it's not easy because some people are just that good. I have a friend who I have watched in person quick scope an entire team of 8 with head shots and only miss twice. It goes without saying I never play against him lol.

Again, in my experience of PC gaming for online multi-player shooter games (which goes back to at least Unreal Tournament & Counterstrike [as a mod of Half Life]), this is RARE. I repeat, rare. That means every few weeks I'll see someone that freaking good. Who knows how many hours I've put into a lot of those games leading up to battlefield 2, but I know origin keros track of BF3, BF4, BF1, and SWBF1.... But I'm sure I have over 2500 hours combined. I still stand by this statement. It is just not common.... At all. In addition to alllllllll this. I still said more. These people I see doing this on a much more frequent level of appearing, are clearly hacking. Obtaining massive amounts of eliminations (yes, I know they are kills and assists combined, only an EA rep and that hacker can see the amounts of each, I'm sure the ratio is greatly spread) in very short time and me being a victim of their antics throughout the whole match. Along with everyone else saying how they are getting one shotted by the same person non-stop. Finally, on top of all this, I'm actually a pretty good player... And incredibly often end up top 5 on my team, as well as get featured at the end of this game a fair amount of team. So I'm not just some fool saying this stuff. I'm glad you got teamed with a bunch of noobs that could destroy your ship or craft at you owned them with a 100+ elimination round. I'm sure many thought you were hacking, but no doubt it took you the whole game to get there, not 6 mins and not seen one shotting everyone. Behind walls.
