Terrible weapon design

Why is dice terrible at making weapons. The heavy weapons in particular are terrible like the inaccuracy and low damage is really bad. The heavy weapons should be the ones providing suppressive fire and alot of fire power but these game developers don't get that at all. And they did the same thing with the heavy weapons in battlefield 1 and 5

  • @Christo04002283Yep it's that arcade balance concept they've been following since Battlefield 1 and, in some degrees, Battlefield 4.

As soon as a weapon has a high rate of fire, it automatically means that it has either a ridiculously low damage or absolutely high recoil if not both, which then again means that these weapons have to be used only by holding down the trigger instead of using bursts.

I miss the times of Battlefield 3 where I could kill people by using bursts with the AS VAL or FAMAS just like I did with the AN-94.

    Anyways:

The TL-21 does good damage but is very unforgiving if you miss only once, so I understand if you don't want to use it.

The DC-15LE with explosive shots and decreased recoil on the other hand is great for dealing damage against infantry and having a good accuracy while being more versatile than the Tl-50 and T-21.

Also it's good against other heavies that use shields.

However, against enforcers all of the heavy class weapons come off weak except the T-21.

  • My problem is the damage, the spreading of my shots and the amount I shoot. They couldn't have just put recoil on the weapon. I hope the person who designed these weapons never makes weapons again.

@Christo04002283The DC-15LE with explosive shots (and recoil reduction gadget) has a good accuracy, despite being full auto.

The FWMB-10K is decent too, but I prefer the DC-15LE because the explosive dmg makes this weapon slightly more powerful and easier to handle targets (splash damage, damage modifier from splash damage hitting head).

Additionally, if you hold down right mouse button/console equivalent to zoom in, the recoil is further reduced which effectively improves the accuracy of any weapon as well.

Crouching does it too and if you do both at the same time, the recoil reduction stacks.

It's a fact only few know about. For some weapons it doesn't make much sense using these tricks, but for the heavy class weapons it definitely does.

Even the default heavy weapons can become deadly against regular soldiers on mid-distance by doing this.

  • I just hate how they made the heavy weapons a close to medium range weapon, they should be medium range to long range weapons. They make you shoot at the hip instead of aiming down the weapon like in the movies or shows. And the base heavy weapon is straight out trash, whoever made it shouldn't make any more weapons, the gun doesn't deal damage, it doesn't have the accuracy, or the firepower, so why did they make it this way. These people are so dumb.

Heavy troopers excel at close quarters, which is good. Who else would take out the vehicles?
By the way, the droid bomber, with the right cards, and if you shoot all the missiles and hit it, can destroy a TX-130.
  • I'm not talking about the heavys equipment like the ion torpedoes or the ion sentry I'm talking about just their primary weapons. Yes there are some weapons that make the heavy a great close quarter combatant but I want some weapons that have the accuracy and the ability to shoot continuously in order to suppress my enemy because that's what the heavys are mean't for. The blaster bolts spreading when you shoot continuously annoys me, they should have given the blaster recoil.
