I've updated windows drivers, updated display drivers, done two full clean installs, and still the game won't run. It looks like it loads up for about 5 seconds, then shuts off. I don't have any other problems running any other modern game at full specs.
The log doesn't appear to contain any problems either, so I'm at a complete loss at this point.
i found the crashdump file located in battlefront folder in DOCUMENT. I've tried everything i've read other people try, three times.....and nothing. So im going to do support chat AGAIN and show them this file.
I just found this post in another forum of someone who looked through their windows updates and noticed he had a ton to do. So he did each one , one by one..and found one that worked.
I just did the same thing. I had 120 updates not installed but i searched for this ONE update.
Platform Update for Windows (KB2670838). I am on windows 7 ultimate 64bit, your tag# may be different..
But try this ! I only installed this ONE UPDATE ...rebooted, let windows install on startup...opened origin straight away and game WORKED !!!
Apparently I got it to work only by just running the Origin installer as admin, even without even having to uninstall anything.
i tried that one too...didn't work for me.
