@FearfulWarpII this... without the new players we'd be struggling in all modes the way you have struggled in HVV Starfighters from day one 🙂
Also, FWIW I'm dreadful at HVV (despite watching YT vids on how to play) so if you see me on your team, I'll be high level but a rubbish player. I don't play HVV because of elitist players complaining and using pejorative terms such as 'potato' or 'plague'.

I understand the frustration though. I just wish it was for the dreadful matchmaking, not the actual player. I wonder if they're trying to pair up new players with more experienced ones so they see examples of how to play each mode.
