Tie Fighter blows up after entering the hangar

What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug Story mode. Mission 3. When the Tie fighter enters the Dauntless, it always blows up after a while. Even if I manage to blow up all the Rebel fighters. Watching youtube videos, it looks like a cutscene is supposed to be triggered where the character exits the Tie fighter. But the Tie fighter blows up instead. I tried this dozens of times and it's the same result every time.

In what game mode did the bug occur? Campaign
What is your time zone? PST - GMT - 8:00
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play mission 3 of the Story mode. The Dauntless. Enter the Rebel ship dock. You are supposed to land. A cutscene is supposed to trigger.
What happens when the bug occurs? Instead of a cutscene, the Tie fighter blows up. Then you have to restart from the last check point.
What do you expect to see? A cutscene that transitions to the next part of the level.

    I just switched it to an easier difficulty and that worked, then switched it back after the cutscene. I was also told months ago in this forum that you can strafe your ship side to side (which I never tried) and that helps avoid taking damage.

    When your ship goes on rails into the Dauntless' hanger you have to kill ALL enemies to proceed. Do it quickly though. Yes I know DICE always put mega frustrating * in their games. They do it so everyone gets pissed off all the time!!

    Ok so everyone my solution to this problem was to; 1) fly around in space for another minute before entering and 2) maing sure to destroy the single rebel infantry units and blow up all ships docked in the hanger

    I am still seething this issue.  I don't know when it started.  I just started replaying the story line and we have the latest update.  I even see the issue on the soldier and explorer difficulty levels.

    I'm having the same issue. It acts like it's going to a cut scene but the Tie Fighter just blows up. Must have tried 35 times easily. Has anyone figured out why this happens?

    Lol the only reason it blows up it is because you must destroy the rebels inside the ship first. You cant be that blind that you cant see them.

    Not true.  I just killed everyone in the bay, and now my ship is just floating here.... No cut scene or anything

    Well I dont know why you just float there for no reason without cutscene it worked for me normally.
