Honestly I think this might be the most toxic game I’ve ever played. Literally every match I play I will get a hate msg. Smh don’t understand how people can constantly waste so much time sending hate mail to ppl they don’t even know

Its the community unfortunately. Star wars attracts the immature 10 year old while most games want the average age of their players to be in their teens.
@C-townladiesmanWorst are these edgy 12yo that trashtalk because they think that makes them badass or cool.
I mean seriously, when you spout some racist crap about black people against my stack of purely white players, it's just cringy at best because neither are you going to offend anyone from my team with that nor do we think you're a badass or something. We just think that you're straight *.
So please, just sit down again and shut up.
Oh also the cocky pros who blame their team in either defeat or victory, that's a no-no for me. Go on and try to fight the match alone and without me or anyone else doing the dirty work, we'll see how far you get.
It simply could be people who can’t handle losing and have no way to manage/vent their anger. For example, badass 12 year olds.
- @RiceKing55 I pretty much reply to all of them with 'hey good job man!'. Most are confused and don't write back. Some light into a tirade that's super long. To that I reply 'you can do it bro'. I keep up the cheerful and encouraging responses until the next match loads and ignore or block them if needed.
Just something to do between lobbies and it cracks me up to imagine someone sitting there pouring effort and emotion into a video game chat message they think will impact my state of mind one iota. @mrnedburnslol good job man, might try this one as well.
For now, I just respond them something like "k" or "ok edgelord".
Though the wisest people are still those who don't even bother to write anything I guess.
Nothing takes more wind out of the toxic people's sails more than them seeing that no one gives a duck what they said about person XY.
In case they don't quit, it's still quite funny to see them spamming their hateful messages over and over again to no avail.
- @RiceKing55 I honestly take it as a compliment when I get hate messages, it just shows I’m more skilled than the person who wrote the message. Just ignore and be flattered or turn off messages from non friends.
- For me (PS4) I have my messages set to private but I’m a SFA main anyway.
I only play coop now in infantry modes but if I get spawn camping Palpatine or Idens when playing Kessel, etc I just quit. Also if I see two very similar names on my team I usually back out the lobby before the match starts.
It’s a real shame when you want to play a decent game and you have The Senate flying around fully upgraded and feel like an audience member. I’m not here to watch other people play BF2 and even going to a different area tends to be pointless as he or Iden will make their way there and spawn kill whenever a new wave comes. It’s just no fun.
I love playing as a foot soldier as opposed to a hero but it’s just too often nowadays I get teamed with the above kind of player.
I got the game when it came out so I had my money’s worth and can’t complain. I’m just trying to complete some last few Milestones (I cannot for the life of me get the dark side one at Maz’ castle despite following YouTube help videos!! :D ).
SFA is a different kettle of fish and I do love to play that. I get a sense the players seem .... less malignant...? Dare I say pleasant? I think the revenge icon is a great idea and can lead to some match-long dog fights that end up in friend requests.
But beware ... if you’re catch you spawn camping in SFA (uncharted territories is particularly bad for this) I make it my duty to take you out again and again. They soon get the message. I suppose that counts as toxic behaviour but I’m not going to be farmed by poor players when there’s very little I can do about it.
