Trooper Career Milestone Starting Heavy training cannot progress, misspelled too

Yeah me too, I can trying yo focus solely on the HEAVY class but even though i have the defender card slotted I never got any score for it which is hella frustrating because I dont even care much for that boost.

I got 114 of 10000. I assumed that if you took damage, then regen health points, and avoid death, then those health points would count towards Defender. THAT doesn’t add to the score. I also checked to see if this maybe the case but only when “defending” a checkpoint too. And THAT doesn’t add to the score either. WHAT CONSTITUTES “DAMAGE SOAKED UP”? Can anyone explain exactly how the defender star card mechanic is SUPPOSED to work.
