Trying to refund but no option too?

Trying to refund the preorder/cancel, but It wont let me. Gave me an email for being eligble for great game guarentee by Origin, but when I click it, it doesn't show.

EA.help doesn't work as it tells me three minutes for a chat, turns to an hour and still nothing.

Need help.

Edit: Guess im going to have to go through my bank because EA isn't wanting to help me. LMao.

  • Eh its fine. Ill just go through my bank and tell them to cancel the transaction. 

    EA is just frustrating to deal with,

    It wont show up on my order page that I bought the game. 

    Even though I have in in my origin game library.

    This was posted on another thread by one of the admins about the same issue. I don't know if you saw it but hopefully this helps.

    Go to Order History and as the game purchase likely won't be processed yet, you should be able to choose to cancel the pre-order from here. 
    If your payment has gone through you should be able to refund instead.

    If you purchased on a console store you can reach out to the relevant support channel."

    How the refunding should go is that you click on this link here: https://help.ea.com/en/refund/

    If you have any games which qualify for a refund, they should show up on that link. Make sure you login first as well. It should tell you about this if you haven't logged in.

    If for some reason this doesn't work, you can use the support link to ask for a refund: https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/

    You've said that you've already gotten to the part where you try to get into a chat so I will save the details to how you can contact the support. I will remind you though that in the event that your support page doesn't work right, please try out the following:

    • Disable ad blockers
    • Disable pop-up blockers
    • Disable no-script
    • Allow cookies on EA Help
    • Press F5 to refresh the page
    • Clear the browser cache
    • Try another browser

    Internet Explorer/Edge works usually fine if nothing else does.

    Oh, also, remember that it is Sunday currently. During Sundays it can be difficult to get to support as they're usually running the support with a skeleton crew as majority of people are having a day off.

    @Major_Shrekoning I strongly recommend against that, chargebacks can lead to action being taken against your account. 

    If you talk to suppor they can look into this and get it all straightened out.
