Disable raw mouse input from the "ProfileOptions_Profile_Synced" folder in settings (path: Computer>Documents>Star Wars Battlefront 2>settings) Then play a game any mode and you will see that the mouse movement/look is broken. You can't look around as it freezes/stutters/stuck sensation.
What happens when the bug occurs? You can't look around with the mouse. The game becomes unplayable.
What do you expect to see? I expect what has always been the case with previous FrostBite engine EA games (BF1, SW:BF1, BFH, BF4) which is being able to play the game normally without mouse issues when turning raw mouse input off.

If you want to experience what I am describing, Set raw mouse input from "1" to "0" in the "ProfileOptions_Profile_Synced" folder in settings (path: Computer>Documents>Star Wars Battlefront 2>settings) Then play a game any mode and you will quickly realize that something is very wrong as the mouse look/movement becomes completely broken. You can't look around whatsoever, you are basically stuck with micro twitches and mouse stutters stuck in the same spot, not able to really turn around at all!
Some people need to play with raw mouse input turned off, all for different reasons. That's why it's been a standard feature, to have it enabled or not, in AAA games for many years now. In my case it is because I am "mouse dyslexic" which means I need my mouse movement to go right when I move left, left when I move right; up when down and down when up. Disabling raw mouse allows me to do this via mouse the mouse software in Windows. This has NEVER been an issue with ALL OTHER FROSTBITE GAMES including the most recent titles, SW:BF1 and Battlefield 1.
A workaround that developers may want to consider is adding another option in the game controls: Invert X-axis. Invert Y-axis is already in there and has been for many titles now but not "Invert X-axis". That would allow you to invert the axis for both Y and X without having to worry about the raw mouse input. It is not uncommon to have an "invert X-axis" option. In fact, DESTINY 2 which was just released a couple of weeks ago indeed has both the Invert Y-axis AND Invert X-axis options in the in-game controls menu! So yes, it's a thing.
I hope we can all agree that this is kind of a big issue and leaving it as is would really be a step backwards considering this is a basic feature in games for literally years now. So, fixing the raw mouse input option in the settings folder or adding the "Invert X-axis" option in the game controls menu or preferably both, would resolve the issue for myself and for many others for all kinds of reasons.
