I still don't really understand why the Ewok has the explosives expert card in the first place. Is the wisties pouch considered an explosive? It seems like a weird combination of card and ability. It makes more sense if the stormtrooper has the card, as he can pick up explosives from the boxes laying around the map. But whatever. The game won't be available in a couple of days anyway. Weird.
I believe the Wisties pouch does in fact count as an explosive. You throw it, and it "explodes" out Wisties. So, that's why I believe the Explosive Expert card stays in place as it's appropriate for the Ewok characters ability. However, the unequipping of the other cards and/or not reequipping the removed cards is indeed quite annoying.
The fix is clear. Make Ewoks a new, separate, and permanent character class: Bruiser. There, done. You get that one for free, Dice. 😉
Also, and my apologies for being so technical, Alliecat7803, as you did write this up quite nice and I think only the second part of this is actually a Bug (as the flashing part I think is explained above by it being legit), when you have separate Bugs, please try and post each Bug as a separate post. It makes our lives harder but easier for Devs to track (and hopefully fix). 🙂
I usually would do separate bug reports, but in this case, the two things I observed were clearly connected, and knowing what is happening in one place can be a big clue to devs trying to fix something else. It's like the ATAT bug on Hoth. Lots of people reporting various orbital strike bugs, but I think it is actually related to a bug with the controls for the heavy laser cannon. I could be wrong about the connections, but the info would probably be very useful to devs when people observe two problems that always seem to be connected. Same thing with the hero emotes...everyone has made a million reports on hero emotes not working, but now a few players realized that this is related to the way hero cards are equipped...not an obvious connection, but reporting this could be super-useful to the devs.
