Unable to play GA since patch 1.2 was released

Since Patch 1.2 was released, I've been unable to play a single round of Galactic Assault. Most of the time it says it's joining Kashyyyk (Kashyyyk every single time) and then I'm permanently stuck on a loading screen. Other times it will actually load up (still Kashyyyk every time), but there will always be between 9-19 players needed (sat in the same lobby once for 2 hours and it never went below 9). Before the 1.2 patch, I hardly ever had a problem finding a group for GA, I'm pretty sure there are more than 11 people in the world playing. All up, I'd estimate I've sat in a loading screen or a lobby with not enough people for about 10-12 hours since the patch.
Edit- was unable to get into a game all day (have had it on trying to load into a game on and off for 9 hours after this post was made while I was doing other stuff). I've noticed on some occasions the loading screen would suddenly stop and the main menu would then load (no error message would game up after the main menu loaded). Then I would be unable to enter any type of game again as it would say something like "Group playing" up the top, with an option for "Join" for the right thumbstick. Pressing the thumbstick would do nothing, and there was no way to try to join any match as all gametypes were grayed out like they are when you've chosen a game type to play and the game's looking for a match for you to join. The only way to try to get into a match would be to quit the Battlefront II from the Xbox menu. I've only ever played this game solo so was never in a group (and wasn't in a party or anything else like that).
Edit 2 (22 hours after posting)- I've just been able to get into a game for the first time by switching my ping site to US-Oregon. While I tried changing the ping site several times before, nothing changed and I still got the same Kashyyyk loading screen. Games are a bit laggy but it sure beats staring at the word "KASHYYYK" all day.

Bug reports on here reporting the same problem:
Highlight the game Star Wars Battlefront II, press the Menu button on your controller, and then select Manage Game.
In the menu on the left of the screen, scroll down to Saved Data, then highlight the saved data for your gamertag on the right and delete profile and saved game data 4Gb
Sign out of XBox, and restart. This should solve the issue.
