Unable to play the single player campaign

After a year I've finally decided to pick up this game yesterday and it has been a source of headaches ever since. Basically, Arcade and Multiplayer work perfectly, besides sometimes having to deal with long load times. But Campaign, one of the reasons I got this game, simply doesn't work.
Most of the times I try to launch the Campaign I get a super long load screen and then a CTD. And in the rare occasions I get past the load screen the game performance becomes into something atrocious.  From stuttering to micro freezing. I've tried turning DX12 off, deleting the documents files then fixing the game and many other solutions I've found online.

And as I said I only have these problems on the single player campaign. Arcade and MP work just fine. My question is, is there already a known solution for this problem? And is it something new? Or has this been happening since launch?
