Unable to unconnected unkown email from Battlefront 2

I have been trying the log into my EA account on Battlefront 2 on Xbox however when it's trying to verify my email it comes up saying "Please enter the code we sent you to verify your identity. Your verification code was sent to th*****@gmail.com" except I have no email that begins with a "th". When I attempt to update email address I input my actual email and it comes up saying "Duplicate Email". I have also logged into my EA account on my phone and tried to connect it to my Xbox on there and it has said that I am unable to connect to my EA account to my Xbox as my Xbox account is already connected to "th*****@gmail.com". I have no idea what the "th" account could possible be. Any help would be appreciated

    Sorry to hear you're having some trouble getting back into your account here.

    If the account email was changed to one you don't recognize, it may be worth going through these security steps just in case that's an indication someone else had gained access to the account.

    After that you'll need to get in touch with our support team to help recover the account itself. As they'll need to discuss private account details, that is not something we can assist with here on the forums. Whether it's an old email of yours or someone else had changed it, they'll be able to check into this and verify some details with you to try and get that updated.

    Depending on what seems to suit best you can create a new case here and select Game Support > EA Account > I need help with my hacked account or I need help logging in to my EA Account so the support team can assist with the actual account recovery.
