And I used skill points to unlock/upgrade this star card today. 🙂
Yeah, I do have the same problem. Unfortunately, ENGINE UPGRADE is a good card (if only it can be upgraded).
I'm fairly certain there is an inconsistancy with the number of skill points I got as Lando, the level, and the cards I have unlocked. Since upgrading the card has to do with these, I'd be willing to bet that this bug is tied to that.
I'm at level 3 Lando. Which means, if I started at level 1, I got 2 skill points. BUT: I have 3 card upgrades, one on engine and two on advanced capacitors. I can't remember if I actually ever unlocked the engine upgrade, or if it just unlocked automatically, and I used my skill points to unlock and upgrade the advanced capacitors. If I DID unlock the engine upgrade card, it means that I did so either without using up a skill point, OR my ship is showing the wrong level. So something is amiss with that card other than just not being able to upgrade it.
It does seem like the card is bugged as even when you have skill points to spend, at no time does the Engine Upgrade Star Card have an "Upgrade" button showing, not even greyed out like the other cards you have unlocked do when you cannot upgrade them due to not having reached the level threshold.
