The only two heroes that are top tier and not unlocked by default are Vader and Luke... so in a week or two most players will have all the relevant heroes unlocked.

You may have seen the article already, but if you missed it, DICE have reduced the cost of unlocking Heroes pretty significantly.

The prices aren't QUITE as low as I'd have liked, but it is a vast improvement from the way the situation was before. Hopefully this represents a step in the right direction and EA is willing to implement feedback concerning the progression system and P2W aspects as well, because that is now definitely the biggest issue.
Being as I never get to play them because all of the skilled players hog them up, doesn't matter to me. Sure, it would be great if they are cheaper, but why pay credits for something I never get to play anyway? When I actually play the MP section of these games by the time I get enough points to choose a Hero they are either taken up already, or the match is almost over and ends right as I pick the hero.
This is why having the entire multiplayer experience available OFFLINE against bots is needed. Then I could actually play them and enjoy them. I could enjoy a part of the game that I PAID FOR for once.
