This bug has been around since I purchased the game several months ago and has still yet to be patched. Often times when I start the game it will launch with a strange high contrast filter of some sort which isn't what my default display looks like. The screen appears darker and the colours much more vibrant and bright than it should be. At first I thought it might be the game trying to use HDR but now I'm not so sure. In the display settings I can return the display to normal by switching from Windowed and back to Fullscreen a couple times, but this is not ideal and quite annoying. My display is a Samsung 32" UJ590 UHD Monitor, but I don't think this has anything to with the monitor.

I've provided pictures of the comparison. Apologies for the poor quality, as it is a filter of some sort a screenshot would not show the difference.

@HUSHHSUH and you sure the re is no setting on the monitor that is being activated. And as you it does look like a form of HDR is being turned on. Is freesync active?

Apologies, it's difficult to explain without showing you in person. I've attached pictures I've edited to show the difference. The darker picture is how the game looks when it launches, so as you can see the game applies some sort of filter to make the screen darker and the colors more contrasted, whereas the second picture is what it should look like by default. That's the best way I can describe it. As I said this filter disappears when I switch between the Windowed and Fullscreen mode, but it would be great if it didn't do it at all
